CAROLANN ‘B’ WELCOME PAGE
Little did I think, some 20 plus years
ago, when I first embarked on my singing career that I would be
as well known and as far on in my career as I am today. None of
this would have been possible without the support of such
fabulous people as Barrie, Sandra, Paul and my Family and
Friends who are to numerous to mention, and would fill many
pages of this letter.
Dance class teachers, Dancers, Pub
Landlords and Ladies, Club Secretaries, Agents and Many others,
who although they had never seen me, didn't know me, and had
never heard me sing, took it upon themselves to give me a
chance. To all those people and all my friends who rallied
round and gave me support I say 'Thank You from my heart'.
I could not have got where I am today without your help
and support.
To all those people who got together to
start the "Fan
Club". How can I say thank
you to those people, and the many 'Friends' who have joined
since, just to know that, that many people support me, gives me
the will to succeed and the desire never to let you down. I
don't look upon people as fans, but as friends I have made
along the way, I may not always remember every face and name,
but I shall never forget the support that you gave me by both
joining the fan club and buying tapes, cd's and other items.
It's my one hope that somewhere along the way I have brought
pleasure to people by singing for them.
Last but not least, I hope this web site
has given you an in-site into who and what I am, if I am
fortunate enough to be allowed to entertain you at one of the
venues I'm appearing at, then please do come up and say
'Hello', let me know what songs you would like me to sing, if I
don't sing a particular song you like to hear, then let me know
and whilst I cannot promise to learn it for my next visit, I
will try to do my best to learn it for you. Unfortunately being
a solo artist, I have to rely on being able to get the backing
song in the correct key, and that is not always possible.
Having said that I must make one more thank you, and that
is to the Excellent musicians both in the U.K. and in the
U.S.A. who have layed down my backing tracks over the years,
whilst I am not fortunate enough to have my own band on stage
as a Solo Musician, at least I have the next best thing.
And when I’m with My Duo Partner, or
with my band, then Its totally different songs for a totally
different performance, one thats truly live.
