TRAVELLING WOMAN
The working title of this album is
Travelling Woman, but this does not mean that at the release
the title will stay the same.
Like many recording done a working title
has to be set up to save the recordings under, but like so many
things in the recording business things like title songs etc
are changed round before the final release of an album.
Sometimes a song is so good, or does
so well that the name
of that song becomes the album title,
sometime it as simple
as the picture on the cover that sets off
the album name.
Many times the Artiste, or Band and the
studio cannot
agree on the Title - usually this ends up
as
'Greatest Hits' or 'The Best of',
but in some cases
the working title grows on the Artiste
and the studio and ends up 'As is'
Lets see how things go, record the
right songs,
get them in the right order, get it
sounding great
- then worry about the title.
...that's the best way of working at any
album.
