1 July 2007... Wow, Half way through the year. A Bad start to the second half of the year with the Cancellation of the Brinsworth Gala due to all the flooding in South Yorkshire. I feel really sorry for them they have worked hard all year just to see it all cancelled, fingers crossed for Next Year. I have been very lucky as i have been out of the UK for the last couple of weeks when all the floods have been about so have not had to ring and cancel any gigs and I have only had the one cancelled on me.

A Busy 6 months ahead of me to the End of the Year, but I would be complaining if I wasn’t busy . Now I’ve had a break abroad, I had better get myself syked up, so thanks again for everyone’s support, Keep it Country

1 Jan 2007...Well I'm looking forward to 2007....hope all you are too....With over a 100 gigs booked before I start the year that can't be to bad, Hopefully all the plans laid down in 2006 will come to fruition, My New CD Being played on the U.S. Forces Radio Station, A New Acoustic CD to get out, An Opening Night for Mr. George Hamilton IV, A Trip to the USA, and hopefully a little more work down in the South Of England, I may have left it a little bit late for 2007 as I'm only just getting round to ringing the clubs, but who knows fingers crossed..

Well another year nearly over, Got about half my targets hit, Got a new CD Out, so I suppose that should count as a good year. Targets are one thing but Dreams are another and this year I was had the pleasure of meeting once again one of my all time idols. Mr. 'Ambassador of Country Music' himself, George Hamilton IV. He Invited me to visit him in Nashville next year when I go to the States and go with him to The Grand Old Opry. I can remember as a 9 year old watching George Hamilton & Friends on TV and day dreaming that one day I would be there with him at the Grand Old Oprey. Now who knows, next year MY DREAM MAY COME TRUE.....

So I will wish you all, a Very Merry Christmas, A Wonderful Happy New Year

and I hope all your dreams come true too.......

Truth is stranger than fiction, this evening just as my Husband Barrie was uploading new internet pages for my new CD 'Easy on the Eyes' He had a Telephone Call from a Friend of mine in Norfolk asking if I had made my new CD Yet.

So Colin, Yes the New CD is finished and I really do hope that this is my best todate, I have always been told that my CD's don't do me justice and that I outshine them every time I go on stage. I keep telling people to stop the praise as i've to get my head through the door at the end of the night [ But truthfully I suppose I really do feel great when I get praise like that] But this time I think the Studio have done me proud, so much so that I can't wait till next year to start my next album. The new album already in the planning stages will be my first full acoustic CD and it will be dedicated to my Mum & Dad for sending me, and encouraging me all those years ago to Guitar lessons. I just hope I can do them justice......

4th June 2006..

Well there is an old saying that time fly's when you are enjoying yourself. And I do enjoy the work that I do but it can be really hard work, and sometimes you wonder if you can afford to carry on. Well we are now Half way through the year and once again plans have that way of going astray - Studio time booked didn't come any way near finishing the latest CD, so the chances of getting two albums out this year are starting to look very slim, I shall be lucky if one gets finished. But I must not grumble as the main reason is the amount of work coming in - 2006 looks as though it could be my best year ever for Gigs, Tours and Festivals.

Its all down to Fans - Friends - Promotors and Agents, without them I would be nowhere, people like the 'Ponderosa' Gang, who follow me all over the Country - What finer friends can one have - 'Thank you' to all of you. It gives me the will to carry on the hard work.

Well another half a year gone by, Just where does the time fly to...Well USA has been and gone, so now I'm looking forward to Spain...The Band has now just about come together after a lot of teething troubles....We had our first Major Gig at the CLEETHORPES COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL, Major problems from the organisors on Our Night with the Sound equipment going down all around us, but we played through it and all those that knew we had carried on with no sound on stage and our first gig thought it was great, it was a baptism by fire but left us all feeling on top of the World...

A Lot of work for the rest of the Year, Trying to get two albums finished one my own, one for the Band. Getting started on Next years bookings plus getting the band tightened up...And Christmas on the way...Ah Well..I.m lovin it..Keep it Country

Well Another Year has Flown By, and I cannot believe how fast it has gone. But it's another one that has been good to me. I'm looking forward now to 2005 - Lots of things on the Horizon, Two Tours, one in Feb to the USA, then Nov to Spain, A Lot of hard work coming together with the band taking to the road in March.

Once Again I could not have done it without, Friends, Family, and dare I say it, Fans. Though most of those have really become friends rather than fans, such is Country Music. So just as in all the previous years - A BIG BIG THANK YOU TO YOU ALL, Friends, Family, Agents and other Artists who have helped me such a lot this year.

I wish you all EVERYTHING THAT YOU WOULD LIKE FOR YOURSELF IN 2005

I am sorry to say that due to various pressures of work etc, Myself and Andy Spivey have decided to Wind up the Duo "Dixie Diamonds", I shall of course retain title to the duo's name, and may use this at a later date. I would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank Andy for his work over the past 2 and a 1/2 years and look forward to seeing him in some future Duo or Band.
